Biblical love is patient, truthful, and not self-seeking.

When your heart wants what wisdom is warning you about. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. There is a difference between acknowledging reality and surrendering your identity to it. One is wisdom. The other is captivity. Love does not require you to ignore wisdom. Jesus Christ can teach you to love people without handing them authority He never gave them. Bring the real problem to Jesus Christ, not the polished version. He already knows what is underneath.

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
